My name is Eddy Besong, I go by the name Eddy B! I was born and raised in Cameroon; moved to the US in 2000. Ive been into music since I can remember, but my interest peaked during my high school days at the saint Joseph's high school in Sasse, Buea, Cameroon. There, I was one of the lead singers in an acapella band. At this time, I had a lot of influence from American artists such as Michael Jackson, Usher, boyz 2 men and Shai. As time went on and I gained more exposure to American artists, I caught a lot of interest in Joe's style of music when I listened to his songs "the love scene", "good girls", "all that I am" and "don't wanna be a player." When I moved out to the US, my love for music and dream of making music stayed with me, but was not initially aggressively pursued! This was due to family restraints and demands. As this eased up, in early 2007, I bought my first music making software and started making beats...the rest is the Eddy B writing this biography. Since then, I have written and laid down countless songs! May of 2009, I moved to Dallas, Texas from New york. I met up with H. Bolo who went to high school with me in Cameroon, and we decided to started collaborating on tracks and Avin-u became the result. I got introduced to Naomi through some friends in Maryland and H Bolo, and eventually, we decided to take AVIN-U C to the next level..

I grew up singing choruses around my mother's bed during devotions at 6 am in the morning...Man, I love my mother. So I've been singing all my life. I wrote my first song when I was nine. I was not too sure what I was doing then but now I am. Having schooled and lived in England, Cameroon and the United States, I have learned from different cultures and I am continuously working on being versatile with this art called music. Coming from a culture where music as a way of life is sometimes frowned upon, I am trying to bridge the gap. Building from a gospel foundation, I seek to record songs with meaning. I listen to the stories of others and watch others go through various emotions that all have a great impact on the stories in my music. My inspiration has been coined from artist such as Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Angelique Kidjo and Kirk Franklin, thus infusing a sporadic approach in my writing.
Like Eddy said, I got to know EddyB and H.Bolo through friends when they visited Maryland. But it was not until later that we discovered that we all had a similar interest in music and started doing collabos that we decided to unite. We have an immense vision for our music and fans and pray that our listeners stay tuned.

What can I say, The name is Henry Mahop better known as HBOLO. Born and partially raised in Cameroon. Attended High School in the US. Business and Music are my true passion graduated from Dallas Baptist University. I first fell in love with hip-hop when I saw the Kris Kros "Jump, Jump" video back in Africa. I imagined myself in the video and immediately I started freestyling underneath my breath. Like My Favorite Hiphop Artist JAY-Z said, "There is was, underneath my nose was the flow of all flows".
